Project EVElyn: Radio Editor from Berlin ventured in for herself

EVElyn – Psychotherapy with Virtual Reality

Fear of heights, social fears or spider phobia – anxiety states are manifold and often not easy to treat. The EVElyn project – launched in October 2016 and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research – uses modern virtual reality technologies to enable a new approach to confrontation therapy.

Berlin radio station on a visit

The UniTyLabs research project has met with great interest among the general public. Two radio editors recently became aware of EVElyn. Franziska Knupper, a freelance journalist from Berlin, has come all the way from the capital city to dare an exciting self-experiment. You can listen to the recording of her field report as well as another interview with Bruno Dietel from Radio Fritz with the managing director of UniTyLabs, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerrit Meixner, here.

Many thanks to Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Radio Fritz for the radio recordings provided.
