UniTyLab goes to CeBIT

UniTyLab presents themself at CeBIT with an exhibitor stand

CeBIT will open its doors in Hanover from March 20 to 24, 2017. This year, UniTyLab of Heilbronn University will also be represented among the approximately 3,000 exhibitors. At the „Baden-Württemberg joint stand“ of Baden-Württemberg International (Hall 6, Stand B30), visitors can take a close look at the research institute and find out more about the research priorities in the field of human-technology interaction. In addition to UX Design and Usability Engineering, the focus is on innovative interaction technologies.

At the CeBIT booth of the UniTyLab, experts in human-technology interaction will provide a broad audience with insights into how a normal inpatient confrontation therapy can be transported into the virtual reality world for the first time and possibly treated in the future: EVElyn is the name of the exciting research project, which will be funded by the BMBF within the framework program Health Research (Field of Action Health Economy) and can be seen at the exhibitor stand. Using VR glasses and the locomotion platform „Virtualizer“ of our partner Cyberith, which transfers the natural motion sequences into the virtual world, the „Tech-Demo“ is realized. This scenario was created especially for CeBIT.

Minister President Kretschmann’s Visit

The VR experts at UniTyLabs can look forward to high and international attendance at the CeBIT booth. Baden-Württemberg’s Minister President Winfried Kretschmann (Monday, March 20th), a foreign delegation from this year’s partner country Japan (Wednesday, March 22nd), and a group of prospective students from Luxembourg (Thursday, March 23rd) are expected to visit the stand along with large crowds on all days.

Here you will find our booth and further information about CeBIT 2017.
